Always want to test in Laboratory since I was young. So funny. I recall back that I never go to Laboratory during my secondary school. You guys must wonder why I never go to Laboratory. Impossible! Each secondary school would have laboratory because it got Science subject. I never experience to explore about everything which related with Science in laboratory. However, I graceful to my former teacher who really tried her best to explain and elaborate the explanation to make sure that my ex-classmate and I understand about this subject because it has many theory!

Okay, I am going to tell you about an unique cafe which named Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro. So it is a special and exciting to see that concept which created by the owner, Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro. Thank you, Food Ink for the invitation for the food review session.

Normally, Kepong is very famous with Chinese Restaurant and Steamboat however few Cafe just gaining popular at Kepong recently. One of the cafe which named Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro located at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong. Those residents who live at Kepong, they would know about that area had been well known with many restaurants. Unexpected to see that Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro which is a place to dine in and a new cafe to the neighborhood because it just created for few months ago. Before this, I thought that it is a laboratory shop when I see that banner. Everything is still being tested out. As same as the foods and drinks inTester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro.

This cafe is new theme which related with laboratory stuffs which has been created by the owner, Ms Jun Tham of Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro because she has an experience about laboratory in her school life. She hates the Science subject in school even she could not touch or play with expensive science lab equipment in school. According to her, mostly many people would choose something that they love to set up their business. However, Ms Jun Tham has traveled to Oversea and find some similar cafe and feel that the concept is quite unique. So she decides and dare to take a subject that she dislike in order to set her cafe. So that's how Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro has developed at Bandar Menjalara.

Let's going to see what is inside of the cafe. There is a shelf which is displaying a variety of lab equipment such as beakers, flasks, test tubes, mesauring clinder and many more. It is the most interesting thing that attracting people who is really curious. The environment is quite simple and white theme so that it can make the customer feel calm and comfortable when dining in this special cafe. There get two outdoor and indoor of the restaurant as what you prefer to seat and dine in.

Mix Berry(Milk Shake)RM15 - Must try it

Here is different type of beverages which is really fantastic and quite special because different drinks come from different lab equipment. Sounds interesting! I love Mix Berry(Milk Shake). It has colourful creamy and sweet. Nice taste after mixing and testing out in the Mix Berry beaker. It is a must drink to try.

Other drinks which is Mocktail named Green Apple Mojito. It is fresh and pure juice. I have not try to drink it but my friend informs me that it is very nice feeling, refreshing and cool. It is suitable for those people who really love fruit juice. May order like this. Get a variety of juices in the menu like Virgin Colada, Assam Boi Mojito and others.

By the way, unique drinks of the beverages in the menu which is really caught my eyes. Guess what? Tester Bloody Mary and Tester Screw Driver. It is RM25 each. Curious what is it? Wow, a lady would like to demonstrate Science lab equipment in the Laboratory. Want to touch it? Sounds Interesting! Better come and experience to drink it if interested. Do not miss the opportunity to hold and touch lab equipment.

Cheese Pork Chop - RM15.50

Firstly, it is Tester Cheese Pork Chop. It contains a cheese which inside the minced meat and other types of cheese which is topped with the meat roll. When bite it, the taste of cheese can be smell and more soft and stringy. It serves with vegetables and french fries. Delicious and mouthwatering!

Tester Signature Chicken - RM14.50

Other than that, Tester Signature Chicken is quite special because the sauce is a bit spicy and  its own taste and unique when bite the chicken meat unexpectedly. Suddenly my mouth started to feel a bit hot because of spicy. By the way, it is delicious and crispy and crunchy chicken. Come and experience to eat this meal. You will know how is the taste.

Fried Pork Ribs - RM23.90

Lamb Shank -RM27.90

Love fried Pork Ribs? Let's eat it. It is a deep fried and the meat inside in the rib still can be softness when eat it. Good taste. No worries. It serves with extra dishes which is french fries and vegetables along. Will give you a satisfaction! Wow! Another dishes which is lamb shank. It contains a plenty of sauce on the lamb and mixed with vegetable on the plate. Just give a try!

Tester Spaghetti Carbonara - RM15

Spaghetti Carbonara is another meals in the menu that prepare by Tester Laboratory Cafe & Bistro. It has a creamy and its own special sauce. Delicious! Wow, still got more meals will be served for us! make us eat more? Sounds full!

Tester Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng -RM10.90

Finally, the local popular meal has been served. Guess what is it? It is Tester Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng. As we know that it is the one of Malaysian cuisine. I love it so much. Definitely, I will miss it always if long time no eat it. So happy! When see Nasi Lemak is on the table.
It will be more fun if can hold and touch the laboratory equipment while chill out with family and friends. More enjoyable! One more bonus! This cafe is a pet friendly. So if you have pet, just bring your lovely pet to this cafe. It is always welcome your pet and dine in together. More lovable. So this is a must place to pay visit! Good highly recommendation to dine in.
