September is a unique and special month in the Deaf Community, dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about the value of Sign Language. International Sign Language Day, which falls on September 23rd, is a significant day that emphasizes the importance of sign languages in assisting deaf people to access and enjoying their full human rights.
That's fantastic news! RC Deaf Mission Malaysia is gearing up to host an exciting series of events in September 2024, all centered around International Sign Language. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, learn, and celebrate the importance of sign language including our Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia(BIM) in ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
