Selina's Birthday Celebration at Metal Box and Cat In The Box Cafe @ Empire Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

What a Sunny Sunday on May 31, my good friend, Kimberly and I had a small gathering but it was birthday celebration for my good friend, Selina in the morning. However 5 of us went to the new place that we never been there before despite it just near with my house. The location was Empire Damansara which was near with IKEA and the Curve. So it was our first time to visit this place. Actually we had discussed about which cafe we should eat through the instant messaging which was "Whatapps" before. We reached there so earlier which was 10am. Most of the cafe just open at 11am. So we decided to explore around Empire Damansara first before we had our brunch at the cafe. 

First at all, we felt like to travel to London because of the building background looked like as the building in London. We welfie in front of the building which was Heritage Lane. Most of the building just black and grey. As I observed that there was not really many people come to visit here but this place got few cafe which was unique with their theme. So I thought that people would come here for brunch, lunch or dinner. The best example cafe was Seven Cups, Haraju Cube Cafe, Bungkus, 121 Barber, Burger Junkyard, Epique Coffee Company, Korean BBQ San Nae Deul and many more.

Along this area, we explored and enjoyed to take photo together because we were very free. Especially the creative arts on the wall such as the giant yellow lamp which could be covered us in the light. It was very nice to shoot. So cute when we were in the yellow shadow! Believe or not? Just visit there if you curious! After that, we continued to shoot our photo in the different shots and prescriptively.

Till 11am, we discovered that the cafe that we wanted to give a try. The cafe named Metal Box Restaurant & Cafe. Wow! Surprised when saw a crowd people and filled with the cafe in the morning. Luckily, we managed to book and sit on our table. The decoration was really different because every items was steel. So no wonder this cafe called "Metal Box". Normally, the menu had the photo about the meal to attract the customer drooling but this menu did not show any photo about the meals. So we took a bit time to read the menu before we ordered our breakfast set. Once we finished to order it, we decided to try our shared meals; The Metal big breakfast and The Red Benedict - Baked eggs. The foods was quite nice and not bad at all.

Then we headed to the "Cat in The Box" Cafe which was Selina's favorite. This because she loves Cat and everything was related with Cat. She would be crazy about her pet cat, called Miu Miu which was belong to her sister. Hard to believe that her favorite cat was very cute. She was always be cute as same as her cat. So we celebrated her birthday in advance.



That's why we went to this place. Once we step into this cafe. Her smile became big and happy when saw everything about cat in this cafe. In addition, we shared to eat our meals again. Anyways, I satisfied with our decision because we ate different meals at two cafe in the morning. Sounds great? We ordered our own drinks; coffee & tea and shared to eat one snack, "Pie Chicken & Potato" in this cafe.

While waiting our meals, we took photo around this cafe and welfie together so much. At the same time, we chat chit so much. Many topic to talk. Wowowow! The owner and staffs make the meals which required 15 to 20 minutes. So no wonder the meals is quite delicious and quite nice. Drooling when saw the meals. It was Pie Chicken & Potato. Finally, we tried a piece of cake, Cheese Nut Cake. I ordered a mystery drink; "Crimson Magic Tea". My friends and I wondered how the taste looked like.... Finally I tried to drink it and the taste looked like apple. We were really enjoyed to chat-chit and eat more at same time!
