Lafayette Cafe @ Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya

Remember about my previous post about Second Sunday Cafe? Definitely, that day was wonderful and Aug 8 was still beautiful number. My good friends and I were very delighted to have a great time with Sr Martina and we appreciated her appearance to spend time with us. It was the most sweet memories with Sr Martina despite I just met her few times. I knew her through my good friend, Kimberly.

We tried the Lafayette Cafe

Well, we planned to have a special day which was a farewell for her before she flied to her sweet hometown. Once again, we really graceful to Sr Martina was willing to spend time with us whole day. Anyways, we were going to find an unique cafe where we never been there and it was our first time to eat there together. So it was a awesome time to explore the cafe.

There was few cafe at the same row of the shop. We discussed about which we chose the cafe to dine in. There was a cafe at upstairs and the banner and poster of that cafe was quite attractive. In my feeling, I bet that all of us choose it. That time my friends wanted to take a glance of few cafe a while. Finally we make our decision and picked the cafe at upstairs. It was Lafayette Cafe located at Damansara Uptown which was near with Atria Shopping Gallery.

I surprised to see an old telephone booth!

When we walked up to upstairs and saw the mural on the wall and telephone booth. It gave us the impression before we were going into the cafe. Imagine that we traveled to oversea such as London, England, New York or Italy and many more. Sounds funny and interesting?

Then, we step into the cafe, it gave us a calm feeling and it make us relief when viewed the environment. This time there was little customer had been here. So we could order our meals so quickly. When we took a glimpse on the menu but did not know which was the good recommendation. So we called the waiter gave his suggestion about which was the best meals and follow his recommendation. While waiting for the foods, we explored the environment and had a chat chit with Sr Martina. However, we make the payment first before our meals had been served. So it was different form other cafe.

Anyways, the food had been served for us. Wow! The decoration of foods was quite attractive and the nice smell came out from its own foods which make us drooling. We could not wait to bite on these meals.We had tried to eat our meals respectively in order to taste how delicious was! We were quite like it so much.

Chicken Chop, RM 17

First, Sr Martina got her dish, Chicken Chop. It was chicken filled with black pepper with mash potato and salad. Despite it look like normal chicken chop but when ate and bite on the slice chicken after cut it. It was soft and crispy. It just priced RM17.00.

Big Breakfast, RM 18.90

Other than that, Big Breakfast contained few portions such as mushroom, hot sausages, scrambled eggs, bread, potato ring and mix salad. It was a big breakfast set. It was quite nice at all and all portion of these foods was quite big and the cost was RM18.90. Wah, my friend could complete this meal on herself. She must be very full already.

Chicken Carbonara, RM 17.90

In addition, Chicken Carbonara priced RM 17.90 had been served as well. It was spaghetti on the big plate. So funny! When we ate it, a special sauce on its own spaghetti especially when we put it in our mouth slowly, felt like thick and filled with all of the sauce and the sauce was really unique. This sauce was suitable for the spaghetti.  Not only that, there got different various of spaghetti in the menu. For spaghetti lover, you should give a try.

Retromarcia Cordon Bleu Chicken, RM24.90

Finally my meal served! It make me want to eat it so yummy! It was Retromarcia Cordon Bleu Chicken priced RM24.90. It almost same with Chicken Chop style but it was a bit different because the special sauce on chicken and really different. It was not black pepper or mushroom sauce. Wow! In addition, the side dish was mix salad in the big bowl. Worth to eat. We fall in love with it after bite on it. Very mouthwatering! Quite like it. So Yummy! This meal was the best recommendation to attempt!

Of course, we need to drink to cool our mouth and throat. We ordered our own beverages. A cute leave of deisgn on the latte of cup respectively which was Rose Cafe Latte (RM10.00) and Green Tea Latte (RM11.00) and other was Honey Lemon Tea(RM8.00). One more drink was Chocobanana Shake (RM13.00). This drink was a bit expensive and that drink was banana taste!

Finally we were full! We couldn't eat more already. After this, we love to celebrate the farewell with Sr Martina with special drink only. At the same time, we took picture together and enjoyed so much. Anyways, we had a wonderful time with Sr Martina. We always miss you, Sr Martina. I would like to share about nice quotes. As the result, this cafe was suitable for us can chill out with our friends or family. Their service are pretty good and tried to satisfy our needs. My friends and I love this cafe.
