So Energetic! My good friends and I were very excited to join the meaningful marathon which was Bottle Hope Trail Run 2017. It was my first time to explore the natural run where it brings us to experience the beautiful natural scenery and reminding us about the importance of the nature which was playing the roles to impact our life. Especially the beauty of natural which has filled with the beautiful mount and green forest surrounding us. Well, Bottle Hope organized 3 different locations such as Cameron Highlands, Malacca and Serdang. Anyways, we choose MAEPS, Serdang on May 14. Honestly, my good friends and I disappointed when we miss MILO Marathon out due to MILO sold out in less than 24 hours after MILO announced Putrajaya as the last place to be held by MILO. Anyways, we found that an interesting marathon which was BOTTLE HOPE! So we managed to join this marathon in order to explore and it was my first time to join Bottle Hope Trail Run 2017. Obviously, my good friends did! Very delighting! I would love to share about my experience about Bottle Hope Trail Run 2017 with everyone. So ready to listen my amazing story?
Absolutely, we wake up early as usually as all of us need to get there in early morning due to avoid the parking slots limited and we could grab our time to relax there before the flag off started as well. We were getting exciting to explore about this place and could not wait to run with other runners at the START LINE. Welcome to Bottle Hope once we walked to the required destination. Wow! I noticed that there were the posters promoted about the responsible drinking and wise drinking. So my good friends never expect to see this advertisements. It was good for the public to read this information about the responsible & wise drinking. Anyways, I noticed that there was the racekit collection booth, the runners queued up to collect their racekit before Bottle Hope Trail Run 2017 started.
Bottle Hope had 2 types of category which was 3 KM and 5KM. As we observed, there was not so many runners joined this Bottle Hope as we experienced other marathon before. Otherwise, it was not so lively environment. Obviously, several marathon held on the same day. So it was not very surprising! In addition, my good friends and I enjoyed to take photo together.
There was several booth such as luggage storage, water station technical, food redemption and etc. Especially I love the detailed information for instance; the layout, event details, route map, Do's and Don't. One more interesting thing was we wore the green t shirt as same as MILO's t shirt. So Bottle Hope's color themed was green. So that we prepared ourselves before Bottle Hope Trail Run flag off.
After that, we could not wait to run immediately once the flag off started. Yahooo! Ready to run nowww! Few minutes later, we realized that we started to enter the different zone which was 5KM that we choose. There was a long journey filled with the mud and a lot of stones during 5KM route in the forest. Thus, it was a bit challenging for us to step on however, we did not give up to walk and run together.
During the journey, there was few stories to be happened for instance; a husband keep to push his wife to walk together. Even a mommy bring her kid walk together. It was more difficult for her but she did not give up easily to guide her kid along. It gave us a great lesson such as "Don't Give Up no matter how much the obstacles/difficulties that we faced" Even we were very happy to see the beauty of the nature scenery in the beautiful skies. Especially we never expect to see few people were riding and passed through this path. What a surprise thing was that there was not so many people took 5 KM because it got trail run so it was difficult route for them.
Anyways, thank you so much, my good friends who keep to encourage us each with other. Finally we completed our 5KM and conquered the trail run. Clap Clap to us!
Finally, we got our beautiful wood medal which was more unique that we never have the wood medal before. I love this medal so much. Thus, we were very happy to get wood medal as first time we got wood medal which was very beautiful.
Overall, my good friends and I love this marathon because it was so meaningful experience to conquer the trail successfully. It was a truly precious and memorable memories to spend time together especially it was the best feeling which brings our friendship became more closer and bonded. Definitely, I always remember this valuable memories.
