Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019 @ One Utama Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya

Recently my family and I explored Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019, largest coffee festival which held for four days from 25 July to 28 July 2019 at LG Floor Oval, One Utama Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya. This festival received an overwhelm response from the public especially those people who were coffee lover and coffee enthusiasts. Yahoo! I was one of the coffee lover and definitely curious about a various of coffee brands. Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019 featured more than 100 local and international brands from 35 exhibitors; 2 coffee championships; coffee workshops and many more!

Besides that, the visitors had an opportunity to meet the nation's baristas and the finest purveyors of coffee beans and brews from around the world. Especially this festival hosts the gathering of Malaysia's top class baristas, local artisan coffee bean roasters, independent specialty coffee houses, coffee beans specialists and suppliers and coffee equipment distributors and manufacturers.

Even coffee lovers enjoyed to taste and drink freshly-brewed coffee at different booths. One more interesting activities which was to witness Malaysia's top baristas and latte artistes battle each with other as there was the competition such as Malaysia Open Barista Championship(MBOC) 2019, Malaysia Open Latte Art Championship(MOLC) 2019 and Mini Latte Art Throwdown.

In addition, visitors had a chance to meet with two world coffee champions on 25 July 2019 and 27 July 2019 at Roastedly booth at Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019 and learn how to extract the best brews out of their coffee beans from Malaysia's national and international coffee champions named Regine Wai and Jason Loo. They shared their tips and pointers about it as what I say earlier.

Other than that, visitor had a chance to win prizes eg win lucky draw-win mystery gifts with every spend of RM50 in a single receipt and sure-win dip-with any purchase of RM200 and above. It was the excitement to attract the visitors who took part in it. they gain the coffee knowledge series held by Barista Guild Asia(BGA), a prominent coffee association in Malaysia comprising coffee professionals with a vision to inspire and empower both coffee consumers and coffee professionals. The workshops by BGA had presented by an outstanding line-up of coffee experts who would present topics such as "Espresso Yourself", "Introduction to Basic Latte Art"," Latte Art for Kids", "Coffee Brewing Made Easy", and "The Journey from Bean to Cup"

Overall, it was a wonderful experience to explore a various of the coffee booths and it indicated that coffee market and industries was obviously increasing popularity among Malaysian consumer's behavior and lifestyle. Thus the rise of the coffee and cafe cultures across the nation where young adults and working professionals are showing keen interest in coffee and it encouraged cafe owners and in the coffee industry where in the booming local market.
