6 Things to Do Eat and Play in Kuantan, Malaysia

After nearly two years of being in lockdown due to the pandemic. Now is the time to take a short vacation with your family and take advantage of the opportunity to recharge your mind and body to feel better. and spend quality time with your family to keep your relationships bonded and close. My family and I just spent three days and two nights in Kuantan. There is 6 Best Family Travel Destination!

1. Fantasy Valley Restaurant 桃源谷饭店

When we leave my house around 10.00 a.m. Absolutely, we make time for lunch at Fantasy Valley Restaurant before continuing to Kuantan, which takes 2 to 3 hours to reach. Fantasy Valley Restaurant is located at Bukit Tinggi, approximately a 45-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is a hidden gem surrounded by nature and the riverside even though it is amidst tropical lush greenery. This is a good place to enjoy and relax while eating in a relaxing and peaceful environment. Indirectly, it makes you feel calm when you listen to the sounds of flowing water and breathe fresh air surrounded by nature. Overall, the food is quite good and the price is a little high, but still reasonable. You may check out at Fantasy Valley Restaurant

2. Elephant Sanctuary, Kuala Gandah

The journey to Kuala Gandah, Lanchang Pahang from Kuala Lumpur, takes about a 2-hour drive via the East Coast Highway and will exit via the Lanchang junction. We have to register at the Visitor Registration Office upon arrival and sign a waiver of liability for any accidents.

Aww...My niece was thrilled to see elephants for the first time. This is my first time feeding an elephant. Even though there aren't many things to do in the area. We also miss out on seeing some elephants bathing in the river due to the timing (Ramadan Month). All river activities may be affected by the river's water level.

The weather is oppressively hot. So we just spend a few minutes exploring elephants and admiring the scenery. However, this is a good place for kids to learn about elephants and see them in person. Overall, I am excited to see how this place can be improved and promoted to both tourists and locals. Even so, it needs to improve to become a popular tourist attraction. Facebook Page is Elephant Sanctuary, Kuala Gandah

Swiss-Garden Resort Residences, Kuantan

Then we check into the Swiss-Garden Resort Residences, which are located directly on the beach. Anyway, if you are curious about how things are in the place where we would be staying for three days and two nights. I capture a few photos. The following photos are available for viewing:-

3. Alor Akar Seafood Restaurant, Kuantan - Must Try!

We are very excited to have an early dinner at Kuantan's best and most popular restaurant.  According to many comments and reviews, this restaurant is always packed and full. As a result, we arrive early to avoid missing out. This restaurant is highly recommended if you have never been before or are looking for the best seafood. Even though this restaurant is full, if you arrive late, you will have to wait 30 minutes or more. I was starving and can't wait to eat. Their Facebook is at Alor Akar Seafood Restaurant

4. Beach, Beside Swiss-Garden Resort Residences, Kuantan

The beach is a must-see destination for enjoying the beauty of the sea and scenery. The beach is the best place to reconnect with nature. Even we have fun capturing the beauty. On the beach, my niece was playing with sand. It was a beautiful moment to see my niece having fun. In addition, my parents, cousin, brothers and I have a great time riding in Electric Jeep along the beach.

5. Zoo Teruntum, Kuantan

If you want to take your children to learn about dinosaur adventures, This is a must-see and experience spot. This is the first time my family and I have visited Zoo Teruntum. When I saw this entrance to Zoo Tentum, I remember seeing Jurassic Park with my family when I was a kid.

The ticket can be purchased at a counter or at a kiosk. There are different prices for children, adults, senior citizens, and OKU. You can take a look at the ticket fees above. You must purchase a ticket for Immersive Explorer (RM16.00 Per Pax) because it is not included in this ticket.

Wow, I never imagined I would be in the dinosaur world. Awesome! Although the weather is extremely hot, this place is great for exploring a variety of dinosaurs and animals. So we won't spend too much time walking around Zoo Teruntum.

Aside from that, there are a few scenes that are ideal for capturing beautiful photos that are Instagram worthy such as sitting on the Birds Nest Hanging, Hobbit House, a variety of dinosaur surroundings, a beautiful frame of Zoo Teruntum, and many more.

You can get it there if you wish to give a cute animal toy or souvenir to your family and friends. You can learn more about it at Zoo Teruntum

6. Isan Thai TomYam

What a pleasant surprise to discover the delectable Thai cuisine. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this is a must-visit, and explore the restaurant. We enjoyed eating a couple meals; the taste was pleasant, and the food was authentically Thai. Imagined that we are in Bangkok, Thailand. All of the meals are delicious. Steamed fish is the most delectable of these dinners, and we love it. It is a must-try flavor. Yummy!! You can contact them through their Facebook page.

Swan Seafood Restaurant 天鵝酒家

Finally, we check out of the Swiss Garden Resort Residences and have an early lunch before returning to Kuala Lumpur. As a result, we randomly select a restaurant. Even though this restaurant serves Chinese cuisine, they also serve HALAL Chinese food because it is part of a hotel. In any case, the flavor is pleasant. Take a look at my photo below if you are inquisitive about what we ordered and ate. You can find them on Facebook at Swan Seafood Restaurant

Overall, even though the plan is simple, we have a fantastic time, and we really enjoy eating the delectable foods, exploring new places, and strengthening our bonding and closer, which helps us to recharge our bodies and mind for a short getaway. I hope you enjoyed reading about my quick trip to Kuantan.
