Such a lovely weekend, I must say! I haven't had pizza in a very long time! I was eager to try out Marvel Pizza, a brand-new restaurant that just opened two months ago, with my good friend. It's located in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya. Are you a fan of pizza? Then you should go check out this restaurant.
The goal of Marvel Pizza, a quick service restaurant, is to serve customers food as quickly and effectively as possible. Consequently, we won't have to wait as long. Simply go to the counter, order the food, and pay with a cashless payment method such as a credit/debit card or an e-Wallet. They only accept cashless payments. So you must prepare and pay for it. You are probably wondering if it's HALAL or not? This restaurant is currently pork-free. They are working on obtaining halal certification this moment.
What a hilarious moment during our conversation when my good friend told me about "Marvel." I said, "Oh, it's a variety of characters in the Marvel movie," but she responded, "Oh No!!" She claimed not to have finished her sentences. The food is Marvel Pizza. I was immediately surprised and thought, Oh, a new pizza restaurant? We all laugh together, and we can't wait to try some fresh pizza! Hahaha!!
The atmosphere is quite clean and tidy and comfortable when we walk into this restaurant. Obviously, the stunning mural drew my attention to it. In order to serve a variety of Marvel Pizza from a range of Lamb, Salmon, and Mediterranean concepts, Marvel Pizza draws inspiration from the most famous and impressive buildings and landmarks in the city around the world. Consequently, we can enjoy different types of pizza all over the world.
There's no doubt that we go to the counter, place our order, and pay with a cashless device like a credit/debit card or an e-Wallet. All payments must be made digitally. Due to this, you must plan and budget for it. We can also choose to dine in or take out. As far as I know, all orders are packed in takeaway packaging. Let's say you're feeling full and want to bring it home. Not only that, but they offer delivery services like FoodPanda and GrabFood. It is very convenient. We can get our favorite pizza whenever we want.
They offer a variety of pizza, including Lamb, Chicken, Mushroom, Beef, Chef Khairul's Spicy Chicken, Three-Cheese, Prawn, Seafood, Salmon, and Mediterranean Pizzas. In addition to that, they also offer Snacks, Salad, Soup, and Beverages.
The most of of their dough is made by hand, and the meat and other ingredients are all very fresh. Since the outside is rough, the inside is frilly soft. However, they use a generous amount of a variety of ingredients in the majority of their pizza toppings. Each pizza is charged a different price and is available in two sizes: 10 inch and 12 inch.
Among their pizza, The Chef Khairul Spicy Chicken Pizza(RM25.90), which is their most popular pizza, is their signature pizza and top choice. It has a lot of chicken chunks with BBQ sauce, pineapples, onions, and mozzarella. It has a secret weapon that is BBQ sauce and spicy chilli with a balance of sweetness and spiciness.
My good friend advised me to eat it slowly because it would make me feel spicy. Oh really? I think to myself. Oh no!!! When I first taste it, the pizza is quite good, but my mouth is very spicy. Anyway, this is the first spicy pizza I have ever had, which is new to me. The pizza is very distinctive and distinct from other pizza. As a result, I only detect a strong spicy flavour that causes my face to flush and almost make me cry. I couldn't put it into words. You should give this a try. It comes highly recommended for those who enjoy a very spicy pizza.
The base of the Seafood Pizza(RM25.90) is made of white sauce. This pizza's topping was creamier than the lamb and the other pizza. It has a consistency like butter chicken sauce. In addition to the white sauce, the toppings come with a tonne of prawns, fish, squid, onions, trio peppers, and mozzarella cheese. This pizza, as I tasted it, has a lot of cheese, is creamy, and strikes a balance between salty and sweet.
Lamb lovers will enjoy the delightful Lamb Pizza (RM29.90), which is enhanced by tomato sauce and topped with a generous amount of mushrooms, onions, mozzarella cheese, and green capsicum. To be honest, this is my first time eating Lamb Pizza because I rarely eat Lamb and was unsure if I could. Anyway, I can eat it until I finish it. The flavour is adequate. If you prefer to eat vegetarian, this Mediterranean Pizza (RM24.90) with cherry tomatoes and capsicums that are complemented by a flavorful pesto sauce made with fresh basil is highly recommended.
When the pasta arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the fresh salmon and prawns were quite good. Furthermore, we can't wait to try the Spaghetti Olio with Salmon Teriyaki (RM21.90), which includes salmon with garlic teriyaki sauce and a sprinkle of cheese and chilli flakes. Fresh tiger prawns in a rich sauce, robust with Parmesan, come with Creamy Fettuccine with Baked Prawns (RM21.90). I prefer Creamy Fettuccine to Spaghetti in general. What a pleasant surprise! It tastes much better than I expected.
Aside from that, we have the snacks. It's Salted Egg Chicken Popcorn (RM15.90). I was surprised after tasting it. Initially, I expected it to be crispy, but the tender is quite soft. Meanwhile, the Fried Calamari (RM15.90) is served with tartar sauce. It contains a number of rings. The rings are more crispy than Chicken Popcorn, and when dipped in sauce, the flavour becomes more tasty and crunchy.
Aside from that, Beef Lasagna (RM15.90) contains minced beef and tomato sauce and is served with onion rings, and Chicken Mushroom Pie (RM15.90) contains chicken and mushrooms and is served with onion rings. While Waldorf Salad (RM12.90) with a variety of vegetables and fruit such as baby romaine lettuce, celery, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, raisins, green apples, onions, and croutons in honey mustard dressing is highly recommended for Salad lovers.
The texture of Wild Mushroom Soup(RM9.90) is not too thick and is light, and there are a lot of mushrooms in it when we taste it, especially when it is hot and we are eating it slowly, it is quite good. Chew it up and enjoy. It is a tasty appetiser.
