Kai's Plato Seafood Restaurant in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam

What a great day! My good friend, Selina and I excited to peek the foods where we love to eat this moment. Were you seafood lover? Yahoo!! Let's going to explore about a restaurant which had launched and newly opened recently. This restaurant named Kai's Plato opened 2nd outlet in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. Thank so much for the invitation, Stella, Food Ink to gather with food bloggers where we were familiar to meet them before. What a warm gathering in Kai's Plato Restaurant. So drooling! Ready to eat these seafood right now?



Wow! When we stepped into Kai's Plato restaurant. There was something where really attracted us to see around this environment. Curious what was it? Well, there was a lot of scallop shells painted with awesome creative and cute idea where each customer wrote their creative message on scallop shell as the decoration wallpaper so attractive in order to make the unique environment where it hang on the wall which had plenty with a lot of scallop shells.



You would be impressed when see the wonderful and awesome wall in Kai's Plato. The environment was quite ambiance and cozy with the seafood style. It brings a warm feeling and joyful between the customers who came to dine in Kai's Plato. Thus, it was a warmest and lovely place so enjoyable, lively and laughter.



Anyways, my friend and I curious and interested to know about the story about how Kai's Plato got the idea to setup the restaurant. According to a partner of Kai's Plato restaurant, a group of seafood lover got the idea to open their business where they can enjoy the seafood feast with family and friends and it would be more great when the wine had served so the environment would be more delightfully.


Kai's Plato had an unique concept which was hands and table. All of you must wonder what was the meaning about the concept. They encourage all of us eat a variety of seafood on the table by using our hands without spoon or fork (cutlery would be NOT provided).


It make us more comfortable to eat seafood feast with both hands and it leads the communication and interaction between family and friends was more better. So comfy and friendly environment! Finger Licking was always GOOD! There was a joke about we could not use our smartphone quickly no matter how many the smartphone ringing so much due to our hands got dirty. Otherwise, it makes us forget about our smartphone and focus to eat seafood first! So funny idea! Cool and interesting!

Otherwise, Kai's Plato launched the latest dishes which was the seafood with signature sauce. Each dishes had a seafood cooked with potatoes, corns and carrots with different sauce. One of the best choice was Pineapple Sauce that I prefer to eat. Other than that, It was Butter Lemon Chilli, Cajun Sauce and Sambal Chilli Sauce. Wow! Sambal Chili Sauce was the most spicy and it was suitable for those people love spicy and Spicy Lover.


Wow!! Wine Lover? There was a wide of selection for wine that we could enjoy to drink it meanwhile enjoy to eat a fresh seafood simultaneously. So that's why some of us enjoyed to drink wine that moment! So Cool!


Can't wait to explore what was the variety of seafood would be served for us! Now was the time to eat 11 types of scrumptious fresh seafood which consists five layer of the multi tier. So each tier has different types of seafood. In addition, the bucket would be provided to dispose the seafood shells. There was different price based on your choice as below:-

Sailor Platter (for 2 persons): RM138++
Captain Platter (for 4 persons): RM270++
Kai’s Jumbo Platter (for 6 persons): RM390++

First layer of the stream pot consists of Abalone, Fish, Vegetable and Oyster which cooked in less steaming otherwise it was more easier to bite because of the softness of these meals. Once we finished the first tier of steam pot, we grabbed to taste the second tier quickly.


For second tier, the next seafood which was Clam, Bamboo Clam, Squid and, Shrimps came with the juicy absorbed from these seafood mix together and it was very delicious once bite it. Quite water mouthing!


The third layer of multi tier which was Mussel, Big Head Prawn and Scallop. Wow! Love these seafood so much as it was one of my favorite! Craving and drooling it so much! As we could taste the natural and fresh seafood which provided by Kai's Plato. By the way, my friend and I really enjoyed to eat it!


The 4th layer of the multi tier which was Shell, Mud crabs and Slippers Lobsters.Obviously, the freshness of and juicy of this seafood absorbed. Not enough meals to bite? No worries, there still got other meals which had recommended and introduced as below.


The last layer of steam seafood tier 5 which was the soup had an aromatic and savory smell which contained different ingredients such as enoki mushroom, carrot, cabbage and seafood juices. So we could smell the seafood juices that we could drink the soup. Very water mouthing!
