Palsaik Korean BBQ Steamboat Kepong in Bandar Menjalara

What a beautiful day! It is a great time to have a good lunch as we go to a good and quality restaurant to explore and dining in there. Curious where are we heading to? Well, it is my first time to visit this restaurant named Palsaik Korean BBQ which located at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong Kuala Lumpur. Do you know about it? If not, it is alright. Let's going to see what we have explored about Palsaik Korean BBQ.


Absolutely, I would like to review about this restaurant to share my experience for dining in Palsaik Korean BBQ with everyone. This place is very suitable for those people who are Korean food fans who love to eat Korean BBQ so much. Wow! When we stepped into this restaurant, it gives me a warm feeling and comfortable with the cozy and clean environment especially the interior design is a modern concepts. Luckily, there is not so many customers who come to dine in this restaurant.



Anyways, I curious and figure out that Palasik is so unique and special name. So I am interested to know about what is the meaning of Palsaik's story. According to Chung Sung Mok Director of Inno 8 Food, Palsaik means eight colours in Korean Language. Other than that, Samgyupsal means pork belly. Therefore Palsaik Samgyusal gives the meaning which is eight coloured pork belly.

As there is 8 types of Pork Belly sauce where each of pork belly marinated in different sauce such as Ginseng, Wine, Pine Needles, Garlic, Herb, Curry, Soy Bean Paste and Hot Pepper Sauce.
Furthermore, all the colour is naturally derived where it does not have any coloring or chemical flavour added. Thus it can be summarized that it is a healthy meal.


The menu is quite simple where we just choose which is the set based on the number of my friends eating. There are 3 types of SET which is 3 Colour Set, 8 Colour Set, OR Premium Set. I picked the 8 colour Set where the price is RM128 because it can feed 2 to 4 people. As I mention earlier, 8 types of pork belly sauce will be served with other side which is seafood soup and vegetables. They provides us a mini bowl of salad with a few pieces of cucumber as appetizers. It is also tasty and special because each pork belly sauce has their own flavour.


A more interesting thing where it caught my eyes. Guess what? The table number have printed on the cutie pig hang on the lamps. Definitely, there is barbecue and cooking equipment on each table. Anyways, we do not need to grill BBQ because the waiter will grill all BBQ and serve these BBQ perfectly grilled for us. We just enjoy to see and explore how that waiter cook it perfectly.


At the same time, I grab my time to shoot the photo on these BBQ have been grilled and the environment around this restaurant. Wow! Drooling and craving at these meals is really attracting me. Firstly, the waiter will cook mushrooms, garlic and kimchi then grill 4 pork belly sauce such as Ginseng, Wine, Pine Leave and Garlic first. Once we finish to eat these meat, then the waiter will continue to cook other meat remaining. The aroma of pork belly is quite fragrant and make us hungry quickly. The seafood soup cooking so slowly at the same moment.



Cutlery can be find in the built-in drawer of the tables. More easier. So cool idea! My good friends and I are truly enjoying to eat 8 types of Pork Belly sauce. The pork belly is quite freshness and softness when bite it especially the aroma come out from its own pork with special sauce. Very delicious and water mouthing! Not only that, I can wrap the pork and kimchi in a leaves and eat it slowly. If you want Kimchi or salad leaves, just ask the waiter to give more as long as possible.


Seafood soup served as well. I just focus to eating it so enjoyable. Next, we order Seafood Pancake priced RM 22 due to we feel that we are not very full so we eat other meal in order to satisfy our stomach fully.


If you are thirsty, you can order the Green Tea just priced RM3 per cup. As the result, we are really enjoying to eat these BBQ grilled and celebrate my birthday in the cozy environment. I am very happy to have them in my life. Once again, this great lunch making my day filled with the happiness, joyful, enjoyable and meaningful. I will keep it in my memories always.
