DIB Coffee and Hawaii Cafe

Wow, I always want to visit an unique place however I always can't make it because I have no time and it is opening on weekday and it will be closed at 6.45pm on weekday. Until my good friend who inform me about it and it will be available on Saturday from end of July onwards. It makes me interested to visit new place which is located at  Menara Gamuda, PJ Trade Centre, Bandar Damansara Perdana. I am lucky to have my good friend who bring me to there finally. Guess what is the unique place? Well, it is 2nd DIB Coffees and Hawaii Cafe. I have been to visit 1st DIB Coffees and Hawaii Cafe before. However this is 2nd branch which is still running the cafe there. Wondering what is DIB? DIB stand for Deaf In Business and it is an unique name for business.

Oh wow!!! Mr Alleh know my good friend but he does not really remember me after I meet him at 1st DIB Coffee Hawaii Cafe few years ago. However it is still alright at all. Mr Alleh, the owner of DIB Coffee Hawaii who is a kind and helpful man with good heart. He has a big dream which is to help Deafs people. He has a lot of experience which is related with operations, management and consultancy. So his vision is very big. He is looking forward to make a successful and profitable 1st Deaf Coffee chain in Malaysia and internationally. Besides that, he is motivating and encouraging more deaf/hearing-impaired people to have more faith in themselves, dare to be independent, dare to venture into new territories, overcome their many fears and lack of trust and finally, be willing to work hard and perform even better than normal-hearing people.

A big poster which is attracted me to read it. It is a sign language poster and a various of dishes menu poster which is on the glass of wall. The environment is very nice and give us a warm feeling. The design of the cafe is quite different and unique. There is a beautiful mural drawing which is designed by deaf artist named Louis Gan on the wall of the counter. He is really good in drawing. It makes a lot of people impress with his drawing skills. Other special thing is DIB staff who is the designer named Daniel, paint the Hawaiian shoes. If you would like to wear Hawaiian shoes, you may buy it there. My friend and I order our meals and share to eat it. It is really delicious.

There is a lot of different menu such as breakfast, lunch, dessert and beverages which is make by deaf staffs. Imagine that they can make a delicious meals and best drinks for the customers. Despite some of customers is wondering whether they can provide the better service to them because of the communication problem. However it is not inhibiting them to serve the customer. They prove that they can serve the customers no matter they have a trouble to communicate each with other. The meal of photo in the menu is always provided when the customers want to order the menu.
