Second Sunday Cafe @ Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya

My friends and I meet Sr Martina again before she went to her hometown!

What a lovely Saturday morning on Aug 8. Wow! 8 Aug was a beautiful number. Unexpected to choose the beautiful date. My good friends and I booked that date so that we wanted to spend time with a special friend who was Sr Martina. So we date with her for a special Saturday. Graceful to Sr Martina who was willing to spend time with us that day. Anyways, we were going to have breakfast at Damansara Jaya. So we saw the cafe which named Second Sunday Cafe. So we decided to eat a bit there first because some of us felt hungry.

By the way, we just ordered our own cup and shared a meal because we would have lunch with my other good friend later. After we discussed about what we wanted to eat and drink, we need to go to the counter to order our drinks/meals and make a payment. Then take our number on the unique wood ladle and wait for our food to be served. It was semi self service. A bit different from other cafe.

We took our time to chat with Sr Martina while enjoyed to eat and drink together. We had fun together. First time we came to Second Sunday Cafe. It was a simple and normal cafe and there was not so many decoration as well. However it surprised us that many customers came to this cafe at the morning. Most of them was the teenagers and young adults customers. In my opinion, they might like this cafe because the place gave them the calm feeling or the foods might be delicious for them. Around this cafe, there was not many cafe and less competition.

Strong Coffee!

What a funny thing. When the first drink served which was espresso priced RM.5.00. It make us surprised with a cute mini cup. Especially Sr Martina herself shocked when got its own drink. Firstly, we thought that it was not enough drink but it was not correct at all as what we expected earlier. Haha. Actually Espresso had its own smell and strong caffeine. So that why it was mini cute cup. Those people were not COFFEE lovers, maybe they couldn't sleep for whole day. It could make them awake and feel strong spirit after drank it. It advised to NOT drink it. Otherwise it was suitable for those people who really love coffee then could drink it. Enjoy the smell of the coffee. Worth to drink!

Number Five, Pancake Sandwich - RM 18 only

Finally, our meal served reached at our table. So we shared to eat the meal. Quite not bad at all. Number Five was the meal name priced RM18.00. It was mixed vegetables with pineapple and salad and potato added also.

There are 4 different beverages; Coffee, Chocolate, Hot English Breakfast tea, and Ice Peach Tea

The beverages just was Chocolate priced RM10.00, English Breakfast Tea priced RM7.00 and Iced peach tea priced RM7.00 served for us well. By the way, I did not eat it so much. My friend ate it because she was very hungry. Once we finished our drinks and meals and we walk to Atria Shopping Gallery while waiting for my other friend came. After we enter the entrance of Atria Shopping Gallery, My cute friend was over excited when saw Doraemon exhibition fair held there. Anyways, I unexpected to see Doraemon exhibition again but this time it just small exhibition. We grabbed our chance to take photo with a special friend, Sr Martina. Thank you to her who was willing to take photo with us as the sweet memories. That all only that we visited Doraemon exhibition in Atria Shopping Gallery.
