Baan Kun Ya, Thai Cuisine Restaurant @ Bandar Utama

 
Hmm...We were hunting the food because we were very hungry this moment. We had no idea what to eat around the place and tried to look for different location that we never tried to dine in. Although Central Point was not very popular to shopping and visiting around. It located nearby One Utama Shopping Mall. As we curious to try to dine in the different restaurant. We managed to park nearby there and walked around Central Point to see if any restaurant was suitable for us. Finally, a restaurant captured our eyes. We decided to dine in there. Thank you, my friend for accompanying me! Such a amazing friend! Let's heading to a special restaurant. Guess what? It was Baan Kun Ya, Thai Cuisine Restaurant. Craving about Thai Cuisine NOW!


Wow! We surprised to see many customers dine in there and the place almost full. However, there got a balkoni at outside of this restaurant. The waiter welcomed and guided us to that place that we would seat. Wow! There was a good feeling because we could sit while enjoy to see a scene with fresh of air.

In addition, we noticed that there got other couple who love to sit next to us too. I discovered that that place could be romantic place to dine in. Despite it was not very romantic place to enjoy! It just a feeling for me. So funny!

Okay, we curious and love to see the Thailand's culture decoration and classic Thailand environment in this restaurant because it had successfully attracted us to see around the decoration and environment in Baan Kun Ya. No matter how many or where we curious to look, it still captured our eyes and heart. The environment was warm and cozy in Baan Kun Ya especially make us felt comfortable when dine in.

There was a lot of decoration had designed and created by the owner of Baa Kun Ya in order to put a lot of heart and effort to bring the customers a new dining experience. So that's why it could be named Grandma's House.

Jasmine TeaPot

Once we ordered our meals and beverages, we enjoyed to chat chit and breath a fresh air at balkoni while waiting for the foods served for us. Wow, the teapot (Jasmine) priced RM10.38 served for us to calm our thirsty. We relax when drink tea. Tea was good option to calm our feeling. So cool.

Pandan Leaf Chicken (Gai Hor Bai Toey)

Finally few meals served. Okay, Let me introduced each meals. Pandan Leaf Chicken (Gai Hor Bai Toey) priced RM 24.53 was one of the famous meals in Thai Cuisine. It makes a great appetizer and makes us drooling and want to eat it so much. The marinated chicken had wrapped in the pandan leaves then deep fried and served. It was not very slightly spicy but has a flavors and aroma inside the pandan leaves. When I bite it, the smell was very fragrant and tasty. Yummy! I love this Pandan Leaf Chicken. No worries, you did not need to travel to Thailand to get your favourite Pandan Leaf Chicken. You could taste it in real an just come to dine in Baan Kun Ya in stead.

TomYam Seafood

We can't wait to craving at Tom Yam soup as we were TOM YAM lover. As we knew that it was a popular soup in Thai Cuisine among tourist and local and it was a must thing to try! Of course, we must order this kind of the soup. Once TomYam Seafood (RM35.85) small served, Wow. The big bowl filled and plenty of different Seafood such as shrimps, squids, clams, tomatoes, vegetables and many more. In addition, it had a various herbs, spices and sauces to enhance the flavor of the soup. Of course, it was sour a bit and very spicy otherwise it was more aromatic and fragrant. Mouthwatering! We like it so much. Despite it was expensive a bit however, it was a worth to eat!

Stir-Fried Kailan

You choose which is your fav; white or brown rice

We need to eat vegetable also. Other meal was Stir-Fried Kailan (Kha Phad Namman Hoi) priced RM16.98. It just vegetable however it contained a aroma with Oyster Sauce. Very delicious! One meal that we must not forget to order which was rice. We could not order some dessert due to full so much. The menu had a variety of different dishes that you may order. As I observed, there got to serve beer as well. So you can order beer to be enjoy if you interested. We eat so much till very full. We were very enjoyed to eat Thai Cuisine and had a fantastic time to relax at the beautiful place to dine in.


Overall, the restaurant provided us a decent Thai delights with great service. So I appreciated this precious time for having a wonderful dining experience in Baan Kun Ya. Had a amazing time. Thank you so much, my amazing friend!
