My experience of visiting GMBB mall on last Saturday, 16 March 2019 with my good friends were amazing! Ever you heard about GMBB before? It is the newly and creative retail destination which located at the heart of city, Kuala Lumpur and the main commercial and cultural district of the Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

So we are very delighted to visit GMBB Creative Mall as it is first mall consists a various of the creative & talent artists, passionate designers, creative entrepreneurs and innovative startups who have brought their talent idea and turns it into the innovative products such as arts & crafts, fashion, gifts and stationery, hobbies specialties, artisan food & snacks, designers workshop & gallery and many more.

In addition, The108 Projects by GMBB's goal is to inspire the new generation of creative entrepreneurs where they reveal their talent & creative skills and idea which has filled with the imagination and abstract concept. Thus, it is the most unique place where they can showcase their amazing work to everyone who visit the GMBB Mall. It is an opportunity for you and your family or friend to explore around the creative exhibition. Sounds interesting!

Especially the selected group of 108 creative people who will be sharing their imaginative and innovative arts & products including their inspiration and motivation through their daily life. Thus, this place features a variety of the exhibition where we can enjoy to explore and immerse ourselves into the fantasy and imagination world. Even it can inspire you to create your expression through the form of art and design!

GMBB provides a range of the Blossom Good Market workshop which is quite interesting! For instance, Hand-colouring photographs with water colours, candles making workshop, sewing workshop, pottery & life workshop, wire-wrap serving spoon design workshop, blossom painting workshop, basic leathercraft workshop and still life painting workshop. Quite attractive and awesome! Definitely, my good friends and I impressed by the talents designers who manage their workshops.

Honestly, I am very anxious to attend the "Wire Warp Serving Spoon Design Workshop" because it is my first time to learning about how to do it during this workshop! First at all, Nazafarin Sabouri, who is the art & craft artist and wondering about how to communicate with me when she aware that I am Deaf person! However it is not problem for her as she guides me to learn how to wrap and decorate the spoon by using the wire.

I have tried to wrap a piece of wire on the spoon few times. Finally I complete to decorate it nicely. Anyways, I am very grateful for her guidance. So, this is my wonderful experience when I have learnt something with Nazafarin through her workshop.

Besides that, this creative mall insists and encourages young generation to be more creative through their expression and imagination. Looking forward to see more Malaysian artists show their talent arts. What a beautiful cultural of Malaysia to the world indirectly! Just like a quote for example; "think big, the future is yours to create". Thus, GMBB make a vision for the creative industry into the entrepreneurship and innovation industry.

After that, my good friend, Selina love to try by learning how to paint on the black and white photography during she attended the "Handcolored Black & White Photography" workshop. We impressed with Ignacio's photography. By listening his story life, he starts to take the photography as he really love every black and white photos in his hometown. Because he really miss his sweet memories of his hometown.

When he gives the explanation about how to paint on the black & white photos and prepare the paint brushes and water properly.  First time, my friend, Selina is experiencing to paint on the black and white photo with the water colours! You have to patient and just enjoy when you paint the photography during the Handcolored Black & White Photography workshop. It is very valuable when you are very happy to see your beautiful painting! Great job, Selina!

Curious to know more about his workshop? Please check out on his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/handcoloredphotography.

Lastly, my good friend, Kimberly cannot wait to learn about  how to make a candle in the "Creating A Candles Workshop" meanwhile Selina is still doing her painting on the black & white photography. For me, it seems easy to make a candle? How?

First, Kimberly has to measure the wax to make sure how much the wax she need to fill. Then, she pour the wax into the boiler and stirring it frequently till it become melt. When the wax is melted, it is time to add the fragrance oil - Grapefruit Essential oil. Then, pour it into the boiler and stir for a few seconds. Lastly, pour the wax into the "Star" container, let it to be more harden.

Finally, Kim got a cute 'star' candle! As the result, it is quite enjoyable for us when we have learnt something new where we explore around the workshops. We gain new experience through the exhibition and have tried to eat the delicious food from the food & beverages' booths!
