Without a doubt, Kepong is famous for its hawker food and restaurants; however, I discovered that the cafe is difficult to find and discover because there aren't many cafe hoppers nearby. What's interesting is that there are only a few cafes to be found actually. Anyway, my friends and I are excited to visit one of the new cafes that opened a year ago. KAPE 카페 is located in Fortune Centra, Kepong.
Awww...When we walked into this cafe, it was all white with a simplistic interior design. There is something impressive about capturing the beautiful photo surroundings. I believe you will enjoy it. Despite the fact that the cafe is quite simple on the inside. As a result, it is an ideal place for those who enjoy capturing stunning photographs, and it is Instagram-worthy. My good friends and I have fun taking pictures.
They offer toast, rice/noodles, and snacks, as well as coffee and tea. When you see Toast on a menu, you might imagine it's a dish made up of two slices of toast topped with butter and kaya and served with coffee or tea and a soft boiled egg. It is one of Malaysia's most popular dishes. This cafe, on the other hand, offers a unique toast because it has an interesting toasted egg sandwich filled with various toppings. Well, KAPE 카페 serves Korean cuisine. It's a popular Korean breakfast street snack. Anyway, this is my first experience with Korean toast.
To be honest, I had no idea what Korean Street Toast was, but it impressed me when it was served. Obviously, we choose Korean Street Toast(RM20.90), Hang Over(RM21.90) and Mini Katsu Buns(RM17.90) to share and experience it together. The price is a bit expensive.
Korean Street Toast is known as Gilgeori Toast. It has omelette filled with cabbage, carrot, kimchi and slice of luncheon and cheese. Meanwhile, Hang Over serves an omelette with cheese, ham, bacon, and hash browns. Aside from that, Mini Katsu Buns are topped with a spicy homemade sauce as well as slices of tomato, cucumber, and cheese. When I eat the toast, the flavour is quite pleasant due to the combination of the toast's various topping. This is a good opportunity to taste how Korean Street Toast looks.
For beverages. We only drink Earl Grey (RM 12 per pot for 2 people). Aside from that, my other friend orders dirty coffee(RM12.00). However, we can still drink water as self-service and without charge.
Overall, we had a great time exploring one of Kepong's cafes. This cafe is highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new or who misses Korean Street Toast.
