I haven't been to Ipoh in a while after going there a few years ago. My family and I spent two days and one night on vacation in Ipoh last month. Certainly, spending time with family makes the feeling even better. When I see my niece happy and having fun, I naturally feel happy and young in my heart, no matter how old I am now, despite how quickly time flies.
Anyway, I would like to tell you about my short vacation despite the fact that it was only two days and one night, which was the best time I have ever had. Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh, is a must-see adventure destination for families with children who enjoy exploring, learning, and playing. It can indirectly improve knowledge and experience of learning about various animals. It can also open their eyes to how their lives and specifications are. This is our first destination. Let's get started!
Lost World of Tambun
It is surrounded by a tropical jungle, natural hot springs and a lot of limestone hills which give me the best impression and it has 88 attractions from 10 parks, making it very suitable for people of all ages. There are several interesting parks, including Lost World Water Park, Haunted Chambers, Lost World Tiger Valley, Lost World Petting Zoo, Hippo Kingdom, Lost World Animal Care Centre, Lost World Hot Springs and Night Park and many more. Wow! We never expected to see such a long line to ride the train at the specified time and drop off at the park where we wanted to drop off. However, we were able to ride it. It would be the best option, especially the weather is too hot to walk around in. My niece enjoys feeding Giraffe food. We even have fun and ride rides at the amusement park. There are still a lot of parks to explore. Are you interested? It would be better if you come and explore it.

Fish and Chips By Bareesta
It's time for lunch. We are going to a restaurant that serves high-quality Western cuisine in one of the best spots in Ipoh. Wow! I was impressed when I walked into this restaurant named Fish and Chips By Bareesta, the environment is quite modern-style, a little dark with yellow light lamps, but it is a lovely atmosphere. We were already very hungry at the time. Thus, we ordered two sets, each with a complimentary Honey Lemon Drink, or we could upgrade to Coffee and an additional soup of the day for only RM 8. Of course, we chose the beverage. One of their signature dishes was "Fish and Chips," which came in a medium-sized portion and was served with lemon and tartar sauce, as well as French Fries. The fish is delicious, soft and crunchy, especially when dipped in the sauce. The best I've ever had. Until we are completely satisfied with the delectable food. Meanwhile, the drink is flavorful.

Sojourn Guest House
After that, we'll check in a nearby hotel. It's called Sojourn Guest House. Before going to the room, they provide clear information about the room number and others on the board. There are also some chairs and a pantry where you can refill your water and relax. It is quite surprising to see the room is quite comfortable, tidy, and appealing. What a unique aroma surrounds you. You can smell it to heal your mind and body. In case if you forget to bring personal care items. There are toiletries available, so there is no need to worry.

1919 Restaurant
Before heading out for dinner, we take a shower and rest. Guess where we'll be eating? It was my first time dining at this restaurant called 1919 Restaurant, which serves Nyonya cuisine. I was impressed by the environment, which is quite appealing and has a lot of unique ambiances, particularly antique and vintage decorations. Deep fried brinjal vegetables, a variety of vegetables, tofu on sizzling, nyonya curry fish, and fried chicken sweet sauce dishes include the soup. All of the dishes were delicious, especially the fish, and the deep brinjal surprised us.

Uptown Ipoh Market
This location is new to us, so we decided to take a quick tour around. It's the Uptown Ipoh Market. I was surprised to see that this market is quite large and that the majority of the stalls have not yet fully opened although some have. Surprisingly, there is a wide range of food and beverage stalls. This place is mostly visited by Malay customers. Then my niece rides and drives the toy electric car. We then went to Ipoh Parade also. We had planned to have a late supper at the stalls, but we changed our minds due to exhaustion. So we return to the hotel. That's all for the first day.

Funny Mountain Soya Bean
We slept well last night. Then we were ready to go and managed to drink the soya for a while. This shop is well-known for its Soya and Tau Fu Fah. When we arrive in the morning, there is already a long queue. Anyway, we got it. I apologise for not taking a photo of my Soya.

三妈芽菜滑鸡饭 Sam Ma Chicken Rice Restaurant
Let's go out to brunch now. This restaurant is popular, and there are always long lines, so we're curious and want to give it a try. We dine there, of course, and order a few dishes, including the signature chicken rice and side dishes. I'm happy when I eat it because I haven't had a craving for this type of chicken rice in a long time. The food is quite tasty. The sauce, in particular, is a must-try! Wow! Even in the early morning and late afternoon, this restaurant is packed. Unbelievable!!!

Kek Look Tong Temple
Kek Look Tong Temple, a premier tourist destination and stunning Ipoh Cave Temple, is located in Ipoh. It is also called the Great Happiness or Cave of Ultimate Bliss. It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to drive from Ipoh City. It drew a lot of attention from visitors including us because it greets you with a grand Hall with Buddha for praying and beautiful cave and limestone especially you will be certainly amazed and impressed with the best scenic view surrounding with beautiful nature even with lake and beautifully crafted landscape. I can't deny that I capture the photos over and over again. I feel peaceful looking at the surroundings. Awesome!

Concubine Lane
One of Ipoh's most popular tourist attractions is Concubine Lane. There is a crowded street with many tourists passing by and surrounded by a variety of hawkers selling food, souvenirs, clothes, toys, and other items. It is a good place to buy souvenirs for family and friends. There are also some shops that are one-of-a-kind, such as the Blue Sand Museum, Cafe, and others. If you are curious, you can look into it and pay a visit. In addition, we buy the best Salted Chicken in Ipoh from a nearby Ayam Garam Aun Kheng Lim and share it with my parents.

V-Life
After exploring Concubine Lane, we started to get hungry. Therefore, we must eat a late lunch before returning to Kuala Lumpur. We made the decision to eat at the unique V-Life cafe. I was surprised to see so many people eating in at such a late lunch hour. I can't wait to see what kind of food we'll be eating and biting into! I'm just curious about the taste. This cafe serves plant-based meat dishes. In other words, they create dishes that taste like meat but are entirely plant-based by using meat-tasting substitutes made from soy, wheat, and mushrooms. Wow! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes prepared by V-Life. The food is more flavorful and delicious than I expected. Now I understand why it attracts so many customers so quickly. You should go try it yourself.
