Dosirak in Banana Leaf @ KJaya IOI City Mall, Putrajaya

What a fantastic weekend! My group and I are excited to have Korean BBQ at K Jaya which is rebranding, Korean restaurant in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. Those who have visited CheongDam Jaya before, will recognize their restaurant's logo and brand, but the food remains the same, Korean Authentic Cuisine. As Cheongdam Jaya is rebranding as K Jaya.

Wow! Something interesting caught my attention. And guess what? What a unique symbol illustrating a Muslim lady wearing a hijab and wearing cool glasses on the glass wallpaper. The atmosphere is comfortable and spacious. You can dine inside or outside.

Although the majority of their customers are Malay and Muslim, non-Muslims can enjoy it as well. Exactly like me! Without a doubt, I enjoy Korean cuisine.

They serve a variety of menu items such as Unlimited BBQ Refill, Lunch Set, 2-3 Pax Meat, K-Fried Chicken, Kids Meal, Dosirak, Ala-Carte, Noodle, HotPot, Vege Steamboat Omakase, Grilled Mackerel Fish and Soup. So you can look through their menu at your leisure. So many choices! I believe you will enjoy it once you order your favorite food. 

We have tried Korean BBQ Buffet and other sets before, but this time we chose the Dosirak, which is quite common but unique because it's served in a banana leaf. To be honest, this is my first time seeing this Korean Dosirak in Banana Leaf. That's awesome.

My Dosirak Set, which is Dosirak Spicy Sotong. It's my first time eating spicy squid with Korean sauce. The flavor is quite good and delicious. Quite spicy. To be honest, I am thrilled when I see Kimchi Soup. It's my favorite. While my group opted for different Dosirak Sets such as Dosirak Ayam (Non-Spicy), Dosirak Egg Roll, and Dosirak Bulgogi. Anyway, we have add-ons like Spicy Chicken and Sweet Lamb Leg. In addition, if you want to upgrade, you can order a variety of BBQ, which range in price from RM 50 to RM 65 depending on the type of meat you choose. No worries, they will serve grilled food, so you won't have to grill the BBQ. Just let the waiter know if you want more side dishes since they can be refilled. To be honest, the Dosirak Set is enough for us and all of the food is delicious. Even the price is reasonable. 

There are so many options for beverages and we select our own drinks. We tried Hausboom Tok Tok and Mojitos last time, but we want to try something different this time. Dalgona Rich Vanilla Shake (RM17.90), Dalgona Rich Chocolate Shake (RM17.90), Dalgona Rich Strawberry Shake (RM17.90), and Ice Caramel Latte (RM15) are our beverages. Awww! My beverage is pink. Can you guess which one? The flavor is very sweet. Pour the water into your beverage to reduce its sweetness. Just in case you dislike sweets.

Overall, we had a great time with Dosirak Set and felt very satisfied. This restaurant is highly recommended by those who enjoy eating authentic Korean cuisine.  It is also ideal for hosting a variety of events such as birthday parties and celebrations.
