My good friend and I attended the grand opening of Li Shan Shan Tea 李山山茶事 on 30 October 2026 at Sunway Velocity. It was a lovely day filled with refreshing tea, fun activities and festive celebrations! Li Shan Shan Tea 李山山茶事 has officially opened its first outlet at Sunway Velocity, bringing tea lovers a new place to enjoy their favourite tea treats.
During the event, we also had the opportunity to see several VIP guests who attended the grand opening. There was a special tasting session for the public, where guests could sample some of their drinks.

Upon arrival, we explored the outlet and enjoyed the welcoming surroundings. There were several beautiful flower stands placed around the venue, adding a lovely decorative touch and making the place look even more festive.
Of course, my good friend and I were excited to try the drinks. We also took part in a fun activity by writing our wishes on the wishing wall. In return, we received either a lovely souvenir sticker or a fridge magnet. What a nice little surprise!
As more guests arrived, the atmosphere became livelier. There was also a long queue at the outlet, as many customers were excited to enjoy the attractive grand opening promotions. It was clear that the special promotion had drawn quite a crowd!
Grand Opening Promotions (30 October – 1 November 2026)
There were several exciting promotions for visitors to enjoy:
- Buy 1 Free 1 - Enjoy your favourite tea and share one with a friend!
- Free Limited-Edition Fridge Magnet - Available to the first 300 customers. Simply take a photo, share it on social media and check in to redeem one.
- Free Limited-Edition Cup - Available to the first 50 customers on the grand opening day.
My friend and I decided to purchase drinks because we wanted to get the limited-edition fridge magnet. To redeem it, we had to snap a photo, share it on social media and tag Li Shan Shan Tea with the given hashtag. It was a fun little activity and we were happy to bring home a souvenir from the special occasion. We decided to try two drinks: Mo Shang Green Grape Milk Tea and Sui Mi Pu Er Milk Tea with Milk Cloud Top. After tasting both beverages, both drinks had a rich, creamy and milky taste. However, I found the milk flavour more noticeable than the tea aroma. Between the two, I personally preferred the Sui Mi Pu Er Milk Tea with Milk Cloud Top. I enjoyed its taste more!
One of the activities that caught our attention was the complimentary canvas printing! We were so happy to get it, as it was our first time experiencing this kind of canvas printing. We had the opportunity to choose our favourite photos, including some precious family moments, to be printed on canvas. What a lovely keepsake!
The printing process took about an hour to complete. While waiting, my good friend and I took the opportunity to explore the place, look around and enjoy some relaxing time together. It was nice to chill out, catch up and make the most of our time while waiting for our canvas prints. Meanwhile, the staff were busy preparing and serving drinks as many guests were excited to enjoy the opening deals. It was certainly a hectic but exciting day for the team!
The excitement continued with the appearance of the God of Wealth, a lively lion dance performance and a wonderful Chinese orchestra performance. We also got to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the official opening of the outlet. The combination of these celebrations made the grand opening even more festive, lively and memorable. We enjoyed being part of this special occasion.
