What a wonderful weekend! My good friend, Selina and I visited Homey Paws, a newly opened pet shop in SS 3, Petaling Jaya during its soft opening from 22 to 25 October. A big thank you to my friend, Edward for inviting us to explore this newly opened shop. It was nice to discover a new place dedicated to our furry friends.
From what I saw during our visit, Homey Paws is a place dedicated to caring for pets, especially dogs. It offers a variety of products and services for our furry friends, including retail products, grooming, pet accommodation, and daycare.
When we stepped into the shop, I noticed it is a bright, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. There was a variety of pet products from different brands, including N&D, Farmina, Nature's Protection, Brit, NanoVet, Acana, Orijen, Royal Canin, and True Iconic, giving pet owners different options to explore.

Another nice feature was the seating area where customers could sit back and relax. Complimentary coffee was available for customers to enjoy while waiting for their pets during grooming sessions. It was a thoughtful touch for pet owners who wanted to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee while their furry companions were being pampered.
Another highlight of our visit was seeing the winners of the "Say Cheese With Your Furry Bestie" contest! The first, second, and third place winners came to Homey Paws during its soft opening to collect their prizes, bringing their adorable furry companions along. It was lovely to see them sharing these special moments with their pets. Their presence added extra excitement and made the soft opening even more memorable. Congratulations to all the winners! Wishing you and your furry besties many more happy moments together.
Besides retail products and grooming services, Homey Paws also provides pet accommodation and daycare for dogs. During our visit, we learned that the pet hotel has 14 suites, each equipped with its own CCTV camera. This allows owners to check on their dogs remotely while they are away. For example, if you are going on holiday or have other commitments that require you to be away from home, you may consider arranging a stay for your dog at a pet hotel. Being able to check on your furry companion through CCTV can be reassuring and give you peace of mind while you are apart.
Homey Paws also offers daycare services for dogs, which may be suitable for owners who need a place for their furry companions to stay during the day while they are busy with work or other commitments. These services are useful options for dog owners who occasionally need someone to look after their pets.
Another service available at Homey Paws is dog grooming. Just like us, our furry friends need proper care to keep themselves clean and comfortable. We also noticed that the shop has separate grooming and bathing areas. It was interesting to see how the different spaces were arranged for their respective purposes. If you are planning to bring your dog for a grooming session, you can check out the different packages available to see which one suits your needs. The grooming packages come at different prices, depending on the services included. So it's best to visit their official Facebook or Instagram page for the latest package details before making an appointment.
