My 2nd day, Guilin Trip

After we woke up at early morning. We went to have breakfast nearby the hotel. We found that a restaurant was famous for Guilin Noddles. So We had tried to eat it. It was really delicious. Once we finished our breakfast, We went to Li River which was a popular tourism attraction. We were on boat while enjoyed to view a lot of beautiful mountains for few hours. The river ranged 83 kilometers (about 52 miles) from Guilin to Yangshuo.


The river generally had three sections. Various attractions like peaks and villages along the river have interesting descriptive names. We were listening to tour guide's legendary stories about the attractions was a delightful experience. Some of the hill had shown a mark for example, Fishes, Horses, Buddhist and many more.


Most of our time was to view sightseeing along Li River from morning until afternoon. We had a chance to visit a small village along Li River. They lived at there for many years ago. As I know, they worked as fisherman and farmer for their own life.




At night, we were having dinner at West Street which was a famous street of Yangshuo. It was an oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years and called as 'Global Village'. There were not only many foreign tourists, but also quite a number of foreign residents were managing cafés and restaurants. The exotic flavor, combined with the traditional culture, makes the West Street world famous.

It was an amazing to see a crowd in West Street. We saw many types of shop such as various shops, craftworks shops, painting and calligraphy stores, backpack shops, cafes, bars and Chinese Kung Fu academies. It was modern and fashionable and more than 20 stores had been opened by foreigners who have built up there.
