DiGi WWWOW Awards 2014

WoWwow! My good friend, Selina invited me and other friend to DiGi WWWOW Awards at Zebra Square, Kuala Lumpur. It was my first time to attend the event like this. There was a lot of people who were attending the meaningful event. I proud that my good friend, Selina was one of 10 top finalist for DiGi WWWOW Awards 2014. It was not easy to get in 10 Top finalist because too many competitor joined the DiGi competition.









Her family, James, my friend and I gave her a support to win the award. However there was few participants was very good in their own website. I heard that 750 participants joined to the competition and finally a panel of judges make decision and choose few people who make the website with the best idea and presentation. There was three categories of award which was Commerce, Content and Community. Want to know what is kind of that categories? Let me describe about it a bit as below:

Commerce
The entrepreneur who was marketing and selling the products/ services to the World Wide Web. 

Content
Someone who was good in creating, crafting stuff online like videos, music, apps, editorial content and many more. It could be a small idea but it could make a big impact and potential.

Community
Someone brings the idea to change for a better Malaysia. It was normally occured in social enterprises, charity, non profit ventures, people/animal welfare, educational or campaign.

Congratulation to the winner for each categories. Wow! my friend wanted to give a try again next year! She never give up! As the result, she could not win the award however it was a good experience to attend this event and at least she was not lose at all! Because she managed in top 10 finalist of DiGi award. Besides that, we enjoyed to see the performance during the event. I give a good quote which is "when you lose, it doesn't mean that you lose at all".
