Once we stepped into this restaurant, it give us a warm feeling in the traditional in the atmosphere and the interior decoration have enriched with an exotic and have a classic traditional and Ala modern style into the good combination. Thus it is leading that the rich and traditional Malay Culture where it is one of the reason of winning the awards. Enak KL has well deserving to receive the honor awards. So that's why the dining area and environment will be more attractive with the kampung style concept and themed.
My good friend and I have tempted to peek this environment so that why we love to take photo around this restaurant due to it really captured our heart and we are very curious and delight to explore! Not only that, this dining place is a quite romantic in the light environment. In addition, the dining table have wrapped with accentuated tables, chairs, red batik cloths, rustic bamboo blinds and oil lamps and many more. The perfect dining for a family and friends in the calm and classic environment.
Furthermore, the corner is available for large family or gathering as well. It will be more best if you come to dine in and you will be satisfied with the delicious meals with the enjoyable time. Grab the chance to experience it yourself!
According to Ms Sherena Razaly, the owner of Enak KL. Her restaurtant have been operated for 11 years already now. She has been successfully to spread her great grandmother's recipes where all the recipes and methods have been handed from the generation to the current generation to make sure that all the recipes will not fade away! Even she mentions that the secret is the simplicity and creativity with refinement and authenticity in the classic Malay philosophy of cooking. In addition, she does not use Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) in the cooking but will pick the most aromatic and freshest spices, herbs and ingredients to enhance the flavor of the meals. Therefore, it has successfully attracting many customers come from different races, religions and background who fall in love with her authentic and aromatic Malay cuisine. Anyways, we have a great time with Ms Sherena for sharing her amazing story.
The impression about this restaurant where it has a honor to receive a plenty of the best recognition such as certificate, newspapers and tv show where it is truly getting a lot of compliance about the savory and fragrance Malay cuisine from the public. Wow! There is a variety of the dishes which has served on the special table. It makes us tempted to the attractive and colorful meals which served on the table. Make us drooling and start to feel hungry after smell the aromatic and fragrant come out from these foods. My good friend and I can take any foods from the plates as long as we like. It is a buffet style. So it means that we can choose as many as we can eat!
Anyways, several famous meals in the menu which has been served such as Kerabu Mangga, Pergedel Kentang, Tempe Goreng, Kerabu Ikan Pari, Ikan Asam Pedas Bendi, Ayam Percik, Pucuk Paku Goreng Cendawan, Gulai Daging Kentang, Sambal Tumis Udang Petai, Sago Gula Melaka, Pisang Caramel and Buah-Buahan on the special table.
Kerabu Mangga is the finely slice of fresh mango and has a bit sour. In addition, the good combination of the mango which mix with a slightly onion and tomatoes. A sour will be melted in the mouth however the taste is good and delicious. As I love sour so much so that why I can eat the sour fruit.
Pergedel Goreng is a quite special and different taste because the potato has been mashed which turn into a flat round shape and it become a golden brown after fry itself. However, it does not has any MSG and so that why the taste is savory especially when bite it in the freshness and softness in the mouth. This meal should be highly reccomendation to try out! My good friends and I like to eat this. We take it more to eat. Yummy!
Ikan Asam Pedas Bendi (left) is the traditional fish filled with the hot chilli and sour sauce where it makes the spicy will be melted in the mouth however the savory of fish would be smell out once bite the soft fish with the lady finger and tomatoes mix together. The flavor of fresh herbs and spicy has been used to enhance the aromatic of the fish. If you love this kind of fish with the spicy and sour sauce especially the spicy lover. Mouthwatering! So this meal is a must thing to try out!
Kerabu Ikan Pari is the stingray is finely to slice into a small portion of itself with the sambal belacan and a little of turmeric especially the lemongrass has been added up for this meal to increase the taste of stingray with the savory flavor. I never eat this kind of meal before. So it is my first time to eat this. So it is good taste!
Ayam Percik is a popular meal that everyone love to eat! Ayam Percik is the chicken roasted in the marinade of galangal,lemongrass and coconut milk sauce. It has a lightly smell of coconut milk and savoury flavor absorbed into the roasted chicken. I like this chicken so delicious. Crispy!
Pucuk Paku Goreng Cendawan has mixed with the anchovies, garlic and onion together. So the vegetable is quite nice to eat so that why many people love to eat this kind of vegetable. If you love this vegetable, just order this vegetable.
Sambal Tumis Udang Petai is the sweet flavor of prawns filled with the chilli and the tart flavor of tamarind juice which had been topped by pepper leaves. The prawns absorb with the sauce to enhance the aromatic of prawns. I like the prawns so much. Wow! Many people like this. Better you try to eat it if you love to eat prawns. it makes me drooling and want to eat it more!
Meanwhile Pisang Caramel just lightly sauteed bananas in a contemporary version of an old classic. Almond flakes add a nice crunch to ripe bananas to enhance the fragrance.
Lastly, we are very delighted and enjoy to dine in this classic Malay Cuisine at the luxury restaurant.
