Our Final Meal at Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant @ Kepong KL

This time, I wanted to tell you a little about a restaurant that closed not long ago - Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant.

Two month ago, my family and I went to Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant for one last meal on its final day of operation. For the past two to three years, Zenitsu had been one of our favorite places to eat. We kept coming back not only for the delicious food but also for the warm atmosphere and the wonderful dining experience.

Knowing that this would be our final visit made the occasion feel especially bittersweet. After so many enjoyable meals and memories here, it was difficult to say goodbye to a restaurant that had become such a special part of our family’s dining journey.

One of the things we really liked about this restaurant was its convenient location. It was very close to our home, and we could easily walk there in just around 5 to 10 minutes. Because of how convenient it was, it became one of our family's go-to places whenever we wanted to have a meal together.

If I’m not mistaken, this eatery had been operating for around three years. So, when we found out that it was going to close down, I was quite surprised and saddened by the news. I honestly didn't expect it, especially because we had always enjoyed the food.

Our Final Visit

Knowing that it would be our last visit made the meal feel a little different. We wanted to enjoy our favorite dishes one more time and make one final memory at a restaurant that had been part of our family dining experiences for the past few years.

Usually, my family would go for the lunch set meals. We found the prices quite reasonable, and the best part was that the tea came with free refills. We also got one scoop of ice cream for free, which was a nice little treat after our meal! 

The complimentary ice cream was especially a favorite with my two nieces. They were so happy to get their ice cream after the meal. It was such a cute little moment, and I'm sure they will miss having it here too. 

The food

Overall, we really enjoyed the food and found the dishes quite delicious. The food was definitely one of the main reasons we kept coming back to this restaurant over the years.

We particularly enjoyed having the lunch sets because they were reasonably priced and came with free-refill tea and a complimentary scoop of ice cream. For our family, it was a nice combination of good food and good value.

Although the restaurant has now closed, I'm glad that we had the opportunity to enjoy the food one final time.

The Environment & Service

As for the environment, the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with slightly darker tones. Despite the darker interior, it felt calm and quiet, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family.

The service was quite good as well, which made our dining experience more pleasant. We could enjoy our meal comfortably while spending time together as a family.

The combination of the food, atmosphere, service, and convenient location made Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant a place that our family enjoyed visiting regularly.

A Conversation With Owner

During our final visit, my family also had a chance to speak with the owner of the eatery.

We learned that there was a reason behind the decision to close the restaurant. While it was sad to hear that the restaurant was closing, we were also happy to know that they have not given up on the food and beverage business.

They hope to continue their journey in the F&B industry, and I sincerely wish them all the best in whatever comes next.

I also hope to see them open a new restaurant one day. It would be wonderful to see them continue doing what they love and give us another chance to enjoy their delicious food.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to enjoy their food again someday. 

Many Customers Will Miss This Place

I believe that the regular customers who had dined at this restaurant before would also be surprised by the news of its closure. I'm sure many of them will miss this place, especially those who had their own favourite dishes and memories here.

For my family, Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant was more than just somewhere to have a meal. We had been coming here for almost two to three years, and because it was so close to our home, it naturally became one of our favourite places for family dining.

My two nieces especially loved coming here. They always enjoyed their meals and were particularly happy whenever they received their complimentary ice cream. 

Sometimes, it is the simple moments like enjoying a meal together, chatting with family, and having ice cream afterwards that become the memories we remember the most.

A Final Goodbye

Although Zenitsu Japanese Dining Restaurant has now closed, I still wanted to share my experience with you. 

After all, just because a restaurant has closed doesn't mean the memories we made there have to disappear.

I'm glad that my family and I had the chance to visit one last time on its final day. We enjoyed our favorite food, had our complimentary ice cream, spent time together, and made one final memory there.

It is always a little sad to say goodbye to a favorite place, especially when it has been part of your family's life for several years. Nevertheless, I hope the owner and their team will have a wonderful new beginning in the future.

Who knows? Maybe one day, we will get to visit their new restaurant and enjoy their delicious food again.
